Kie: Gurzhag charges Basha, Criticals hits for 4 damage to Basha killing the stunned Oruk outright, Kie then players Scavenge gaining two Glory instead of 1, Kie then upgrades Gurzhag to unkillable and great strength on Hakka. Both players then pass in the rest of the power phase.

Matt: Hearing a mighty Roar from Gurzhag as he slices down Basha, Hakka decides he wants to be on the action to and Charges straight into Gurzhag. However, all his attacks fall short of doing any damage!

Kie. Hakka Charges Hakka! Instead of using his newly acquired daemon weapon his opts to use his good old Choppas, “des r Gud or Hakkin” and launching an assault on his name’s sake. However evenly matched Hakka defends, as both models come to a stalemate as their Rusty blades lock. Both players pass the power phase.

Matt: As options are limited now he discards an objective card and draws a new one. Both players pass the power phase.

Kie: Charges Basha into Gurzhag, immediately scoring Call of the Wagghh scoring 1 Glory. Gurzhag is unphased by the less Oruk and his armour defends the attack. Matt plays Sidestep in the power phase. Then both players pass.

Matt: As a final action of the battle, it looks lost for Matt’s Ironjaws, so in true Oruk Fashion, Gurzhag charges Gurzhag (even though he is unable to defeat him) also leaving him on top of Objective 5. He hits Gurzhag for 3 damage. Sadly for Matt, this caused Kie to score “too dumb to die” for 1 Glory point.

Going into the Final End phase of the game the current score was

Matts Ironjaws 3,

Kie’s Mercenaries 7

Kie Scores “ders more of us” for 1 Glory and “punch up” for 2 Glory. Giving him a total score of 10

Matt scored “Hold objective 5” scoring 1 Glory and “Plant a standard” 1 Glory. Giving him a grand total of 5

A Win for Kies Mercenaries 10 – 5, with a very well-constructed deck. You can find the deck HERE

There are 3 Objectives within 2 space of each other, was this intentional or have I been doing placement wrong with Objectives being 2 hexes apart?

Aside from that great to see some battle reports look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the comments Moloko and Murph. Yes you are both correct. Error on my behalf. I believe it must of came around because of the following. We actually deployed and started playing, then I realized I hadn’t taken the initial ictures so we took models back off so I could take the photo. I believe objective two go knocked in this process. Me being Clumsy no doubt and in the haste of putting models back on, put objective two in an illegal place.

I’ll try and be more careful next time but thanks for the feedback. I don’t think it had any effect on the game however as Kids deck wasn’t objective based and if I did score it, it didn’t matter as I’d lost either way.

We also hope to bring you more battle reports in the future. Thanks for reading 🙂
